Koichi Kano brings over 25 years of financial markets expertise and strategic leadership to his role as Head of Japan at QCP Group. He has held senior FX and Fixed Income trading and management positions at leading global institutions including Citigroup. From 2017 to 2019 he served as a member of the Bank of Japan’s Forex Markets Committee. Since transitioning into the blockchain sector in 2019, he has actively participated in several high-profile international projects, including Project Guardian with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Project Agora with the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the Institute of International Finance (IIF).
